JulieAnn Calareso was honored to participate in the New York State Department of Veterans’ Services Annual Training on Wednesday. Her presentation, “Understanding Financial Documents For Pension Advocacy,” helped inform the hundreds of Veteran’s Benefits Advisors gathered in person and virtually as part of this three day training. Invited by Benjamin Pomerance, Deputy Commissioner for Program Development, New York State Department of Veterans’ Services, JulieAnn met wonderful advocates from all over New York State, including Viviana “Mama V” DeCohen, the Commissioner, who urged JulieAnn to spread that word that the services and benefits available through NYS DVS are broad and varied, and are available to ALL THOSE WHO SERVED!
