Leesa Naimo-Fredette joined Gleason, Dunn, Walsh & O’Shea in May 2025 as Of Counsel.

She has extensive background in small business lending, development, and growth. As a prior small business owner herself, Leesa’s has made small business success a primary concern in her practice and assists clients with the various aspects of their business, including entity formations, licensing, sales, mergers, and real property acquisitions.  

As the prior General Counsel of Pursuit (formerly known as New York Business Development Corporation and Empire State Certified Development Corporation), Leesa closed thousands of transactions throughout New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey aimed at fostering economic development, creating and preserving job opportunities, stimulating growth and expanding and modernizing businesses via conventional, government-guaranteed, and government-sponsored credit facilities, and more specifically the United States Small Business Administration’s 7(a) and 504 loan programs.  Leesa advises commercial banks and alternative lending institutions in all areas of need, including loan documentation and closing, credit policy and loan reviews, as well as banking regulations and interpretation.

Leesa is a graduate of Russell Sage College and obtained her Doctor of Law degree from Albany Law School. She is admitted to practice in the State of New York, the Northern District of New York, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and the State of Florida. She also holds an MBA from Union College.
