Tammy L. Cumo is a principal of Gleason, Dunn, Walsh & O’Shea.  Her practice primarily involves commercial and transactional matters, including professional and business corporation formation and representation, limited liability company formation and representation, real estate development, physician group representation, and public authority law and compliance. She has represented a variety of entities including private and public clients in formation, acquisition and sale of businesses, commercial real estate transactions including commercial leasing (both office and retail); development and management agreements, and financing transactions from both the borrower and lender side.

Her practice also includes representation of clients in matters of general business law including formation and corporate governance and compliance with respect to professional and business for-profit, as well as not-for-profit entities, and representation of clients on a wide variety of operational issues in a general counsel capacity. She has represented public authorities in all operational needs including internal policies and procedures, compliance with procurement and lobbying requirements, compliance with public accountability requirements, FOIL, open meetings law, coordination with local and state agencies on authority specific requirements, as well as coordination with key stakeholders at the local, state and federal levels.

Ms. Cumo has also represented clients before NYS agencies such as the NYS Attorney General with respect to condominium and homeowners’ associations and NYS Liquor Authority with respect to liquor licensing and related matters.
